Yes, its true the energy grid needs replacing – its one hundred years old! Yes, we need a more efficient energy supply system. But we DO NOT need the system the energy elite have in mind for us.
The energy grid was invented over 100 years ago. It seemed like a good idea at the time. But the electricity producers quickly started doing what all producers do – selling us more than we need for more than we could afford.
The way the Grid was set up caused huge pollution and global warming, which was not appreciated at the time, but now it is becoming clear.is why the grid is no longer fit for purpose.
Did you know that 30% of energy produced by power stations is lost in the system and never reaches the end consumer?
For most people, most of the time, ,we dont need the grid any more. With renewables, batteries and miniaturization, most of our needs can be served by small micro-grids – preferably community-owned energy, which currently accounts for 11% of all USA energy consumption.
